Is anyone else getting random 1-2 seconds drop outs in the audio on random stations lately? I am not losing the signal, it just goes silent for a second or two.

I was getting it during Christmastime - a one second mute every once in a while, but signal was solid, so it had to be in the audio chain.

I've been getting a weak signal off and on for the last two days.

Wonder if a satellite is down or something

I get them at home and in the car. I never used to get them.

It happens quite a lot on Hair Nation (41).

i think it happens with "sirius originated" channels than the XM ones.

i'm sure with fiber links or whatever, something's gotta be out of sync and causing the glitches.

Great name for a band, by the way.

I get them on my Sirius SL2 on XM originated channels (Classic Rewind, 80s on 8 for example).

Haven't noticed them on XM on any channel but it may just be luck. It seems to be completely random but not present at all before the channel merger.

I have noticed this on multiple channels ever since the merger. I've heard them on two different radios and on several different channels. I find it quite annoying.

I am a long time XM fan but listening to Siruis on my factory head unit in my Ford F150. This thing drops constantly and it seems to be getting worse over time. My wife's car is an Accord with factory XM and it still works very well but I don't drive it as much as she does so I may not pick up on the drops.

Try listening to news or talk when it drops for 2-3 seconds every 30 seconds. It's worthless, you can't even follow the conversation.
