And everyone they sell now will be returned because the SkyDock will not operate without the SXM app, which isn't out yet.

so this works as a regular xm radio would work meaning it has it's own radio id which means if I buy this I have to add this new "radio" to my account?

indeed. It's an extra $8.99/mo to your existing account. If you want BoS also, add another $4.04

Can you now get BOS on family plan radios? Couldn't do this previously.

I don't really see the advantage to this iPhone adapter. Other than having a fairly snappy video screen and removing one device from your car, is there anything else?

If you get a phone call, you're going to have to unsnap your phone while driving and then hook it back up afterwards, unless you have bluetooth.

Yes, you could. I've had BOS on my additional radio since it became available.

Right, but are you paying the full price + the $4.04, or are you paying $8.99 + the $4.04? I know you could always get BOS on any radio you want, but the price is what I'm asking about.

$8.99 + $2.00, actually (just checked).

Or, more accurately, it shows this breakdown online when subscribing to it:
Quote:
XM Everything Plus The Best of SIRIUS, Multi Radio Discount: $10.99 Monthly
XM Everything: $6.95
Best of SIRIUS: $4.04

Looking at the PDF of my bill, though, it shows differently:
XM Everything: $8.99
Best of SIRIUS: $2.00

Your BOS must be a promo, mine is only $2.00 and $4.04 next yr. in MAY 2010..... my BOS will go up to $4.04 if I decide to even keep it, but I really don't see the need to, now that I have a MiRGE
I can live without Howard on my XMP3......

Which is necessary if you live in California, Connecticut, DC, Chicago, Hawaii, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland...

Considering I just listed 2/3rds the population of Canada and over a quarter the population of the U.S., that's one helluva group of people that need less devices in their cars.

For almost the same cost as this thing, you can get an XMP3 with car kit. I don't see any advantage of this dock over and XMP3.

Except you cannot get an XMp3 with car kit for $119 (or $99 Wink ).
